After three years teaching stand-up comedy classes with The Institution Theater (and taking classes and performing there since the early days…maybe 2010 or 2011?), the city of Austin and I had to say goodbye for good, the theater officially, officially closed with Tom Booker’s move to Nashville (we miss him dearly).
But! Myself, and Ali Thompson, really love teaching comedy, and, as they say, the show must go on, right? We're continuing to offer comedy classes and opportunities through a new outfit we call Ether Comedy.
Right now we're offering online classes, but that may change as the world opens and interest grows.
